This typical brown-eyed,brown hair Japanese girl, Chiharu Hibino was born in Nagoya, Japan and she was only 8 months old when her parents came to Canada. Since she was a little girl, she loved music and started learning piano, but found her real passion in Japanese Drumming called Taiko.  As she lived in Canada, she had a desire to keep her Japanese heritage by going to Japanese school to be fluent in her mother language, learning meditation through traditional Japanese Tea Ceremony, and keeping fit physically by learning and teaching Taiko, Japanese traditional drumming.
